Welcome to Wisconsin Recovers 2025
Join us on August 25, 2025, at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin, for the inaugural Wisconsin Recovers golf event—benefiting the Recovery Foundation. This exclusive event will bring together leaders in behavioral healthcare and addiction recovery from across the country for a day of fun and fellowship, with winners walking away with bragging rights and the honor of being champions of this first annual event.
All proceeds will benefit the Recovery Foundation, a Wisconsin-based non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial support to individuals seeking or engaged in outpatient treatment for long-term recovery from substance abuse and mental health disorders in Madison and the surrounding areas.

University Ridge was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and is home to the University of Wisconsin’s men’s and women’s golf teams. It offers something for players of all skill levels while following the natural contours of the land through preserved prairie, marshland, and dense Wisconsin woodland. It’s been home to the American Family Championship (PGA TOUR Champions) since 2016.

What format is the tournament?
Wisconsin Recovers will be played as a four-person scramble.
Is there a dress code?
All players should abide by the University Ridge dress code:
- Golfers must wear collared shirts at all times with golf pants or Bermuda-style shorts.
- Blue jeans, short-shorts, cut-offs, gym shorts, t-shirts, and tank tops are not permitted.
- Shoes must be closed-toed. Soft spikes only.
Are rental clubs available?
Please contact University Ridge at (608) 845-7700 if you need to rent golf clubs.
Will mulligans be available?
Mulligans will be available for purchase onsite for $20/mulligan. Each person may purchase up to three mulligans.
